Terms of use of online funding application site

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of the “Funding Application” pages of the Glasgow Kelvin College website (“our site”), whether as a guest or a registered user.  Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use this site for completion of the forms to apply for funding from Glasgow Kelvin College.


You may only use our site and the online funding application forms by accepting the terms of use below.  Your formal acceptance of these terms and subsequent use of our site indicates that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them.  If you do not agree to these terms of use you may not use our site and a paper based application form can be emailed to you if you request this from the Bursary Office at

Information about us is a site operated by Glasgow Kelvin College (“WE”).  We are a body corporate in terms of Section 11 of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992 and have our main office at Springburn Campus, 123 Flemington Street, Glasgow G21 4TD.

Information provided by you

In line with UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and guidelines issued by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), personal information supplied and entered in this application will be treated confidentially and stored securely by the College.  The College is under a duty to protect the public funds it administers and to this end may use the information provided for the prevention and detection of fraud, audit, and monitoring purposes. It may also share this information with other bodies administering public funds solely for these purposes. Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on the site without notice.  We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.  From time to time we may restrict access to some parts of our site, or our entire site, to users who have registered with us.  When you choose a username and password you must treat such information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any third party.  We have the right to disable any username or password at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
